Once,
there was a lonely cloud who wanted to have a friend. He was so sad that he
told Mr. Sun about his problem. Meanwhile, a river looked up to the sky and thought
of himself being up there. Mr. Sun
heard her desire to go up above and because of this, Mr. Sun got a brilliant
idea and thought of a way how to help them both. Mr. Sun then maximized the intensity of his heat
and extended his rays covering the whole world. As expected, River slowly
elevated reaching Cloud. Cloud was so happy and surprised that at last, he
finally found a friend. Cloud and River became best of friends and they
wandered and shared memories together.
But
one day, Cloud felt something heavy and unusual within him. As time passed by,
River got heavier and heavier. After few hours, the unaware Cloud suddenly
released the getting heavier River. Even though he tried not to let her go, he
could no longer take and handle it anymore. River eventually went back from
where she came from and Cloud was left blue and alone.
Cloud
decided to approach Mr. Sun and shared his disappointment.
Mr. Sun told him that that there are truly things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept, things we don’t want to know but have to learn and someone we can’t live without but have to let go. With this, Cloud realized that he really has to let go of the things that he cannot control. He learned that the key to happiness is learning to let go and by being thankful to God for whatever he has.

Lesson: Accept the things that are beyond your
control. Learn
to be satisfied with what you have and you will always be happy.
